services
Langham's Mentor™ process ensures that when it's time to "go live," your mission-critical application software operates as planned. Mentor includes the following services:
  • Risk Analysis
We carefully review existing software systems, staff capabilities and operations to uncover factors that could inhibit a smooth transition to a new or updated system. If risks are discovered, we immediately recommend ways to alleviate the risk.

  • Resource Planning
Langham leads you through a methodical process that analyzes and accurately calculates your organization's specific resource needs - staff, equipment, budget -- for the software desired.

  • Needs Analysis
We'll jump start your needs analysis process by providing an up-to-date Base Requirements Document (RFP specifications). The specifications are further enhanced and customized throughout our process and may list up to 3,000 specific software requirements for your organization.

  • Acquisition
The core of our services. This includes preparing the RFP, analyzing and scoring vendor proposals, accompanying you on vendor site visits, finalizing pricing and preparing/conducting presentation(s) to your board or council.

  • Contract Negotiation
Once a vendor is selected, Langham helps construct a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) and negotiate the final contract on your behalf. With 22 years of contract negotiation experience, we're prepared to be your lead negotiator, if desired.

  • Project Management
We develop a project plan, cutover schedule and budget-tracking spreadsheet, and actively participate in managing the onsite implementation work effort. Then, we remain onsite after "go-live" until the system operates flawlessly.

  • Quality Assurance
The Mentor™ process includes exhaustive quality-control measures to ensure each stage of your implementation process is completed according to your contract and requirements. Langham carefully evaluates and monitors all deliverables for completeness, accuracy and timely delivery. You'll get a monthly QA report that identifies current project risks and recommends how to mitigate those risks.
