Langham Consulting's systematic and comprehensive Mentor™ process secures the software vendor that best meets your needs. Mentor features checks and balances throughout, and a thorough documentation system that withstands any challenge. Mentor phases:
Preparation Phase
It's easy for organizations to underestimate resources needed to successfully implement a mission-critical application project. Accurately assessing risks associated with such enormous projects also can be difficult. Langham Consulting forms a foundation for success by:
- conducting an in-depth Resource Analysis, which outlines resources needed to successfully implement the new application from start to finish; and
- performing a Project Risk Analysis to determine steps to mitigate project and organization risk.
Acquisition Phase
All clients who have followed Langham's Mentor™ process from start to finish have successfully gone live on the product selected. It's because we listen to you and reflect your requirements in the RFP. Then, through strong negotiations, we contractually bind the vendor to meet those requirements. Our Mentor process is not a cookie-cutter approach. Rather, it's an approach that features impeccable execution with outstanding attention to detail.
Implementation Phase
Langham Consulting has managed more software implementations than any independent acquisition consulting firm. We don't let the vendor call the shots since those decisions may not be in your best interest. Our experienced project managers are an extension of your in-house implementation team and provide continual guidance and recommendations. Langham's proven Quality Assurance methodology features monthly risk assessment and risk-mitigation recommendations.
Post-Implementation Phase
There's still more work once the project goes live. Fine-tuning new business processes, researching user issues and correcting configuration or conversion errors are common. This "post-live" work is difficult since the software system is in full production. With Langham Consulting, you'll get project-management, quality-assurance and issue-resolution services onsite for up to six months or more after "go live," depending on the project size. Our job isn't done until your organization is smoothly operating on the new product.
