Gary Thorson, PhD, President
Company president since 2003, Gary oversees all Langham operations and is the exclusive consultant who teams with clients during vendor contract negotiations. Gary offers clients more than 20 years of high-level software/services and contract-negotiation experience. He is well regarded for his ability to "read between the lines" of a vendor proposal and use that knowledge to the client's advantage. Executives, attorneys and end users from city/county governments and utilities have commended Gary for his thorough negotiation process, project-management skills and Quality Assurance assessments.

Prior to joining Langham, Gary was a corporate officer for three public and private software companies. He is a member of the Governmental Finance Officers Association and serves on the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards Committee regarding Best Practices for Operation and Management. Gary has taught several Automated Meter Reading Association seminars and workshops on the software acquisition process and developing the proper RFP. He also leads presentations at the annual CIS Conference. Gary earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas, and master's and doctoral degrees from Oklahoma State University.

Debra Ardoline, Vice President
Debra Ardoline, Langham Vice President, has more than two decades of experience in higher education, government and utility marketplaces. Before joining Langham in 2003, Debra served in a series of progressively responsible positions at Systems & Computer Technology, a $238 million provider of technology and business solutions for education and utilities. Debra is a solutions-oriented business consultant with a proven track record of effective applications development and implementation. Her extensive background managing CIS software development teams ensure that Langham clients receive a high-level approach to the design of customizations and interfaces. Debra received a bachelor's degree from Miami University of Ohio.

Tim Almond, Vice President
Tim brings 19 years of IT experience from a broad spectrum of roles and areas of expertise. For 10 years before joining Langham, Tim worked for Indus International as a product manager and senior project manager implementing CIS-CRM systems with medium to large utility companies in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to Indus, Tim held a number of IT positions, including data center manager at a leading credit and collections company in the UK. He brings strong project-management and customer-service skills to each Langham project. Tim completed Computer Science studies at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK.

Ralph Lousteau, Senior Consultant
Ralph Lousteau has 30 years experience in the utility and local-government industries, and 35 years experience in the software industry. He has successfully implemented dozens of CIS and financial system projects for a variety of municipal, state, and federal government agencies throughout North America, Central America, and Europe. Ralph has also managed numerous software projects for cooperative and investor-owned utilities, including a CIS/CRM implementation for the largest natural gas supplier in the United States. Prior to joining Langham, he was an Industry Solutions Executive for a major software firm that focused on the utility sector. Ralph earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Louisiana State University.

Leslie Temmen, Senior Consultant
Leslie Temmen has 30 years of experience in all aspects of utility operations and management, including 10 years of IT experience. As an applications manager, she was responsible for the planning, evaluation, selection, vendor and project management of multiple customer service applications. Additionally, she managed the support of a multi-integrated application environment, improving processes, efficiencies and adapting the systems to meet changing business requirements.

She has management, planning and operations experience in metering, meter reading, outage systems, field orders management, billing, collections, payment processing and commercial customer services. She has served on several community boards and conference planning committees. Her extensive knowledge of the day-to-day customer services operations and her practical experience involving the business management of utilities makes her an ideal advocate for working with vendors, business and technology partners on many types of initiatives. Leslie has a Business Management degree, with MIS focus from the University of Central Florida.
